4 bucks a pop, how could i not buy this random shit?
Today I managed to blow a decent amount of money… I need to just stop going outside o_o I’d originally left the house so I could go buy a D-Link Rangebooster N Dual Band Router and to potentially grab some monitor off someone from craigslist… got the router, then got the smart idea of trying to find a random “computer store” with my gay gps thing… two places it told me to go and there were no buildings there xD… anywho, noticed some place called MR. BOOKS or w/e and decided to check it out… I was about to leave thinking “damn, there’s def no manga or anything like that in here” and some black cat stepped out in front of me from nowhere and scared the shit out of me… so I played with the cat for a bit and then noticed, as I was squatting down, that there was a full rack of manga right next to me… and not just that… it was fucking manga manga, not american-defiled-”cartoon”-pro-translated-book-things… so I purchased probably like 100 worth… only had to pay 40 tho

then I was stupid and on my way back to base saw the guitar center and was like, alright… I’ll check this out… all I need is a mic, maybe around 100, meaning I’d only blown about 210 (router 70, books 40, mic 100)…
but no. in order for the mic to even function I’d need to purchase a mic cable (25)… and then for the mic to be able to work with my comp i’d need a freaking USB audio/MIDI interface (200) and then what the hell… might as well get a fucking mic stand too, eh? that’s another 60 fucking bucks…
so I’m out about 690 USD… which is nearly my full paycheck xD
thankfully it’s not like I ever eat or anything and I could probably just stay in this compound (walk to work, fuck gas money) and wait til like another week from now til I get paid again…
but what the fuck? seriously… I can’t even read Japanese so I have no clue what these books are…

as for the other question, nah… it was like one of those bookshops that sells old shit they get used
so rare stuff… I only paid like 4 bucks each on those and considering they only had a limited selection, I just took what I could… that aside, I only got them as study aids since I’m still working on my reading comprehension

I try to fit in an episode a day but I sometimes don’t even have a consecutive half hour free.
I have way too much time, I spend most the time thinking… wow I can watch so much shit … then don’t watch but like a couple episodes in the day, then spend the other half of my time pointlessly talking on irc, facebook, or sitting in front of my mic not recording anything worthwhile cuz my brain doesn’t wanna cooperate like it used to ;_;
